Archant Life

Johnny Hustler

Managing Director

Founder and Managing Director of Archant Life, Johnny has been with Archant for 20 years. He joined the company in 1987 and has since occupied a number of senior commercial roles within Archant’s newspaper business.

It was from within the Norfolk newspaper business that Johnny managed the launch of Archant’s first regional magazine ‘Norfolk’. This launch proved the catalyst for a new Regional Magazine strategy and Archant Life’s first acquisitions were made in 2001.

Since then the business has grown to cover most of the country through a portfolio of over 50 titles.

From the start Johnny’s over-riding priority has been to deliver improving value to advertisers through audience growth – and Archant Life continues to buck the general trend amongst regional media by regularly achieving double digit circulation growth.

Johnny lives in Norfolk, spends most of his working week in a car and rides horses in his spare time.
