New executive director appointed


Jonathan Hustler, managing director of Archant Life, has been appointed to the Archant Ltd Board with immediate effect.

He joins chief executive John Fry and finance director Adrian Jeakings as executive members of the Board.

Speaking of the appointment, John Fry said: “This is a well deserved appointment for Johnny who has demonstrated solid strategic thinking and excellent managerial capability through growing the Archant Life business since becoming managing director at its inception in 2001.

“Before that he was a senior manager in our Regional business in both Norfolk and Suffolk and knows our business well. He will be a great asset to the Board and will bring both experience of the regional media sector and an understanding of the changing nature of our markets.”

Jonathan joined the then East Anglian Daily Times company in 1987 and has developed the Archant Life business into the largest regional magazine company in the country with 53 titles. He is on the board of the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) and is a former director of the International Newspaper Marketing Association (INMA).
