New Cheshire Life editor
Louise Taylor has been appointed editor of Cheshire Life, taking over from Patrick O’Neill, who retires at the end of April.
Louise has been with the company since 2001 when she edited Manchester Life. From there she became deputy editor of Cheshire Life and was the launch editor of Pure Cheshire.
Her role in the North West has also involved editing Pure Taste and Pure Weddings and she has been fashion editor of all of the main northern titles.
Liz Page, managing director of Archant Life North, said: “I am delighted Louise has accepted this challenge. This is one of the major roles in the UK regional magazine industry and it required the appointment of someone of exceptional talent to replace Patrick. In Louise, we have that person.
“I am particularly pleased to have been able to make an internal appointment, once again demonstrating the strength in depth we have in the North. Louise has consistently demonstrated ability and skill in a wide range of roles across the North West.”
There will be a short hand-over period and then Louise will split her time between Archant Life’s offices in Hale and Preston.
