Staffordshire County magazine‘s ethos of promoting the people, places and products of the Creative County has seen sales of the title rise by 470 per cent since it was acquired by Archant Life in the summer of 2006.
The magazine prides itself on beautiful photography, great writing, the best interviewees and coverage of every social event we are invited to. We have recruited a first-rate team of editorial contributors including some of the best in regional journalism and ‘amateurs’ from the WI to the Head Gardener at Shugborough Hall ( home of the Earls of Lichfield) to the RSPB and Wildlife Trust – and the partner of Staffordshire’s richest man who writes a monthly diary on their celebrity exploits.
The aim is to be informative, entertaining, fun and, above all, a champion of our great county.
All this combined with wide exposure at retails outlets and hotels across the county means Staffordshire County is outselling its nearest rival by 2.5 copies to 1 at the big five – Sainsbury, Tesco, One Stop, WHSmith and Forbuoys.
Subscriptions are now up by more than 1,000 per cent.
